Back in the day, during my parents’ generation, $1 could buy them lunch, a snack, drink, and possibly an ice-cream cone. Fast forward to our current day, the present value of $1 can no longer buy us those simple luxuries. We would be lucky to even buy a bottle of beer with $1.
So perhaps it is surprising that in our current day, $1 can still go an extremely long way.
Just $1 can save a child’s life by providing him/her with access to clean and safe water for 40 days.
And so, my question to you:
Can you save a dollar today? Can you save a life today?
